Future Explorers Canadarm
One of the many highlights of the Space Shuttle program was its robotic arm, the Canadarm. This vital tool helped to successfully accomplish many science objectives during the Space Shuttle era. From assisting in the repairs of the Hubble Space Telescope, to putting or retrieving satellites from orbit, to aiding in the construction of the International Space Station, the Canadarm was an extremely important tool for space exploration.
Our Canadarm is a fully functional robotic arm that children will assemble and test, learning at the same time the basis of robotic engineering and how robotic arms work. After assembly, they will be able to simulate a satellite retrieval mission as part of the Space Shuttle Program.
